Also provides vouchers for clothing, household items, and furniture for use at Saint Vincent de Paul thrift stores.

Sponsors a food pantry in Butler that serves over 500 families every month. Food bank members can expect to receive vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy products, and non-perishable items.

In addition, more than 20 Society Conferences host food pantries and many others provide some form of food assistance.

Performs home repairs to address critical health and safety issues, accessibility issues for seniors and people with disabilities, and housing code violations. Offers no-interest loans up to $5,000 (higher for roof repairs) to qualifying partners used to repair critical damage to a home or eliminate immediate hazards to health, safety, and/or sanitation. Loans can also be used for home preservation activities.

Provides an array of public library services.

Sells men's, women's and children's clothing, household goods and furniture to fund the Salvation Army Adult Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center.

Vouchers may be provided in special circumstances such as fire, disaster, bed bug infestation, first time move into county on a case by case basis. Amont determined by cicumstance, family size, etc. Obtained through Family Serivces.

Operates a family resource center providing connections to resources. Offers services such as relationship-based support from a dedicated progress coach, referrals to community resources, events and family activities, access to computers and printers, community clothing closet, and emergency food and household items.

Offers emergency assistance for individuals and families in crisis. Referrals are made for assistance, not directly offered. May provide seasonal assistance, such as Back-to-School and Project Bundle-Up, when funds are available.

Accepts donations of clothing, small appliances, bedding/linen and some toys during thrift store business hours. At the end of each season, all inventory is sold at half price. No furniture/large appliances are accepted and no truck pick up is available.

Provides a variety of donated furniture and household goods. Those with a voucher, may visit the location to select needed items and then transport them to their homes or make arrangements for delivery.

Provides material assistance to those recently released from prison and family members of an individual currently incarcerated. Assistance may include Photo ID fee assistance and vouchers for clothing, furniture, housewares, and appliances to be used at an agency thrift store.

Offers a choice food pantry, transportation assistance, personal hygiene assistance, a shower program, vouchers for clothing and household goods, and Christmas assistance.

Helps a homeless or near homeless family/individual to: stop eviction from your home/apartment or foreclosure of your house; find a long-term place to live; find a short-term place to stay. Provides a one-time payment up to $400 to prevent eviction or $100-$300 to obtain temporary or permanent shelter. There is no monthly rental assistance or subsidy available.

Need must be the result of an emergency such as eviction, living in hazardous conditions, homeless or near homeless. If more funds are owed than CAO can offer are required to prevent or resolve the emergency, the applicant must have another way to pay the remainder due. The individual or family must have sufficient income to afford future rent. Items are verified with landlord/employer, etc.

Provides usable household items to those in need. Accepts donations of couches, chairs, stools, coffee tables, end tables, dining/kitchen tables, etc. Does NOT have major appliances. Available for pickup and drop off.

Serves people seeking clothing, furniture and other items.

Also, looking for volunteers to help on distribution days as well as looking for someone to help pick up furniture.

Personal, Grooming, cleaning supplies are available while supplies last. Diapers are also available.
