Assists improvement of academic outcomes for Latino youth, while simultaneously building students’ pride in their native language and heritage. Program goals include academic advancement, cultural empowerment, social-emotional development, and family engagement. Students who participate in SOY Pgh also receive a snack and dinner daily.

Provides an after-school program that introduces children to fundamental skills and techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, dance, photography, drama, and more. Divided into two groups: kindergarten through grade 5 and grades 6 through 8.

Offers an after-school program that equips youth with the tools to thrive in today’s creative economy. Offers resources and guidance for young artists to explore their personal and cultural identities, and express their creative vision. Participants create portfolios that can be used to apply to art school or respective programs.

Case managers work with families to increase school engagement and connect them to community resources that will support the family.
