Animal Care Associates
Animal Care Associates
The Animal Care Associates is an all volunteer non-profit organization that was formed in 1998 to serve needy animals in the greater Lackawanna county area with a variety of services. We are a No kill animal rescue group in Scranton, PA. We are currently recruiting new volunteers and foster families. Our ultimate goal is to find a loving home for every animal we take into our shelter. In our adoption process we do everything we can to make sure your new pet is right for your situation. Our volunteers who handle adoptions know the animals; they know whether they are good with children or other pets or if they have separation issues. Some of the animals we take in have been abused and may act fearful or aggressive as a result. While they are still adoptable, these animals may need a little more time and attention while adjusting to new places and people. We can help you choose the right animal for your circumstances and we are always available to offer help and advice on any problems that arise. We want to make sure that your new pet is a welcome addition to your home and family.
