    SAM - Lewistown - Service Access and Management
    Provides case management, day programming, site based psych rehab (group rehab), emergent funds (depends on need), crisis intervention, delegate services, outpatient funding for counseling and psychiatry if an individual has no insurance, and a housing program.

    For MR or IDD consumers we offer emergent funds, supports coordination, day programming, group home placing/assistance, crisis intervention and delegate services.

    - Provides early intervention for children from the age of 0 months to 2 years and 9 months of
    age. This service is provided for any child that may be displaying a delay physically, verbally, speech development, etc.

    Lancaster County Office of the District Attorney - Lancaster County District Attorney
    The District Attorney's office acts as a prosecuting service for the State. Attorneys prosecute persons charged with crimes by police and offer legal counsel to police departments only, not to private persons.

    The District Attorney serves on the Prison Board and chairs the Victim/Witness Policy Board. There are 28 Assistant District Attorneys with special areas of concentration, such as sexual assault, white collar crime, child abuse and domestic violence.

    In cooperation with state and local police, the District Attorney's Office administers the Lancaster County Drug Enforcement Task Force. The Task Force accepts and investigates reports of drug sales or trafficking through the use of a 24-hour toll-free hotline.

    The District Attorney's Office formed the Child Abuse Cadre to train representatives from area police departments to become specialists in investigating child abuse cases.

    Provides a 24-hour confidential hotline at (717) 632-0007 and makes referrals for temporary or emergency safe shelter (please note: Safe Home is not a shelter itself). Offers legal advocacy, including assistance with filing a Protection From Abuse Order. Coordinates with other social service agencies that provide assistance with health, finances, housing, drug/alcohol treatment, support groups, children's services, employment/training, food, furniture, clothing, and more. Provides referral and support services, child therapy, and the W.E.A.V.E. (Women's Empowerment Against Violent Environments) adult support group, which includes free childcare during group sessions. Delivers community education for all groups, including educational speakers and age-appropriate outreach materials. Offers volunteer opportunities at (717) 637-2125 ext. 241, and provides accompaniment and/or transportation to appointments/hearings, including civil and criminal hearings. Also offers options for counseling and crisis response, with free childcare provided when necessary.
