Provides limited financial assistance for families and individuals displaced or made homeless, and residents with court ordered evictions. Services include cash assistance with rent and mortgages and security deposits. Also provides post-disaster housing assistance with referral from Red Cross.

Flood Recovery Residential Housing Rehabilitation - STEP
The Homes in Need - Flood Recovery Program provides labor and material to make basic home repairs necessary for flood victims who are homeowners to return safely to their homes. They help with flood repairs that are not covered by FEMA or flood insurance. STEP housing initiative staff and participants in STEP's YouthBuild Program provide the necessary repairs, which may include work on heating, plumbing and electrical systems or other types of basic repairs.
The Housing and Builiding Initiatives Program is part of STEP, Inc.'s Housing Options Pathway.
