Children's Crisis Treatment Center
Children's Crisis Treatment Center - Community Based Services
CcTC's Community Based Services provide services to children and their families by assisting them in learning to achieve success with the natural resources that are available to them within their communities:

- Behavioral Health RehabilitationServices (BHRS) - CcTC's BHRS program provides emotional and rehabilitative support for children. This service places support into the child's community, school and home by providing individualized Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) Services, Mobile Therapy (MT), Behavioral Specialist Consultation (BSC) and Care Coordination Services.

- Intensive Care Management - program provides direct services to children who display serious emotional challenges. ICM works to ensure that children and their families utilize natural supports as well as traditional and non-traditional community resources to develop appropriate relationships with family and caregivers. Services include assessment and evaluation of medical; family and educational history; support network and resource building for the child and family; and child and system advocacy.

- Summer Therapeutic Enrichment Program (STEP) - therapeutic/recreational summer camp for children. The camp provides children with a safe environment where they can develop and practice needed social skills while school is not in session during the summer months. Most of the children have been denied access to other summer camps due to behavioral and emotional difficulties in the past. In STEP, all children successfully complete the summer-long program, learn valuable skills and explore community options. Most importantly, they have the opportunity to enjoy childhood activities as others do while receiving art, dance/movement and recreational therapies.

- Family-Based Program - offers team-delivered services rendered in the home and community. These short-term, intensive services are designed to integrate behavioral health treatment, family support services and routine care coordination services. By taking this approach, the program aims to enable families to continue to care for their children with serious emotional disturbances at home and therefore reducing the need for out of home placement.

    But wait, that’s not all!
Whether in the Dining Hall, by the pool, or the popular breakfast in bed, campers enjoy three nutritionally-balanced and delicious meals a day - even the most picky eater is sure to be satisfied. Speaking of food, don’t forget about all the tasty treats offered in the Snack Shop!

Here at Streamside, we firmly believe that one of the ways that God shows Himself to us is through the world around us - our families, our friends, and through His creation. Streamside’s Nature Center provides a controlled environment that allows campers a safe and hands-on experience with critters of all kinds. From exotic frogs, turtles, and snakes, to raccoons, ‘possum, and perhaps even an alligator, each camper will be able to experience God’s creation up close and personal.

Step outside and hike the unique Bog Trail or wander through the woods, our trained guides will help you to see, touch, and even taste the beauty of nature. Come be amazed by God’s incredible design for this world!

God has revealed Himself to us not only through the world around us, but also through His Word, the Bible. In our morning Bible classes and evening Vespers, we employ puppets, drama, songs, and guest teachers to help each camper learn more about God and how much He cares for them.

To lead the way, a diverse staff of mature believers come from all over the world representing many backgrounds and cultures. Our common desire is for campers to begin an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and to commit to living transformed lives. We believe it is essential to have a well-trained staff who are attentive to the needs and safety of each camper. Our staff and volunteers must complete an extensive application process along with background screening before serving at Streamside. Certified medical personnel and lifeguards are always on duty and secondary accident insurance is carried for all campers.

With several camp dates to choose from, there is no need for anyone to miss out on a great time this summer. Between free time at the pool, boating pond, or snack shop, morning activities, evening Vespers, and a camp wide secret mission, there is never a dull moment! Whether climbing the mountain or making new friends on the basketball court, Kids Camp is the place to be!

Streamside has four one-week encampment dates available for kids 8 to 12-years-old. Each encampment begins on a Monday afternoon and ends the following Saturday morning.

    Summit Children's Program
Summit Children's Program - Camp Summit
Camp Summit is a fun way for your child to spend the summer weeks! We provide time with friends to learn and grow socially together as well as an environment that enables and encourages them to make new friends and try new experiences.

    - Swimming!
Camp Summit has the use of a private pool three days a week. In addition, there is outdoor water play under the sprinklers.

    - Outdoors!
Camp Summit is located near the beautiful Wissahickon and Valley Green. Much of our summer learning happens in the great outdoors.

    - Field Trips!
Field trips to Philadelphia area attractions are a wonderful part of Camp Summit’s program. We also receive special visitors who bring field trips to us.

    - Celebrating the Arts!
Our camp provides innovative creative and performing arts in the summer program. We’ll be singing, dancing, playing and learning about acting and playbuilding. It all culminates with the campers ending the summer with a stage performance.

    - Celebrating Activity!
Tennis anyone? Camp Summit adds tennis to the long list of organized outdoor activities we offer. We'll head to the courts for instruction and play. We love to keep moving! (With plenty of breaks for water!)

    - Celebrating Each Other!
Armed with their own cameras, campers will turn their summer into an experience to remember. All of our campers will make a personal Camp Summit journal that will include photos of projects, field trips, and special thoughts of their personal experiences here at Camp Summit.
We believe that a high quality summer camp program should provide for the recreational, social and emotional needs of children. We provide an environment that is structured enough to be safe and interesting, but allows children to have a great deal of independence and choice.

Our staff are selected for their experience, enthusiasm, special skills, and love of children! All staff members are screened and are required to have child abuse clearances and criminal record checks. We have staff on site with First Aid and CPR training.

    Camp Summit's facilities include:
