Adopt-a-Family Giving Program connects groups, families or churches with families in need to provide gifts and food for holidays.

2022 sign ups for Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets and Angel Tree/Toys for Tots registration will be held in person October 13, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Holiday Assistance Programs include:
- Provides Christmas and Thanksgiving food baskets.
- Clothing provided through the Angel Tree Program.
- Toys and gifts for children ages 12 and younger through the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program

Easton - Christmas Assistance Program

- Holiday Food Basket: Distributes food/gifts to families at Christmas. Income guidelines. Apply for assistance in October - call office for dates. Dates also available on Facebook page.
-Accepts gift/toy donations from Toys for Tots, Angel Trees and individual donors.
Volunteers make holiday visits to nursing homes and hospitals to talk, sing carols and give gifts.

Adopt-a-Family program matches donor groups with particularly needy families. Program focuses on working poor and special cases.

Salvation Army - Reading

Reading - Christmas Assistance Program

Provides Holiday assistance through:
- Angel Tree: Provides Winter clothing and gifts for children ages birth to 12 years. Gifts are purchased by individuals in the community. Families sign-up throughout October during a face-to-face interview.
- Angel Tree Senior and Veterans: Provides seniors and veterans with small needs that they may have.
- Adopt-a-Family: Families are identified and sent to local agencies and groups wishing to meet the needs of the family beyond toys for the children for Christmas.
