Operates animal shelter for unwanted pets and pet adoption center for those who wish to adopt animals; pet therapy program; community and school education and literature available. Also provides veterinary care.

Enables people with any life-limiting illness to remain comfortable in familiar surroundings, with support of family and friends. The programs offers the most advanced therapies, medications, counseling, personal services and palliative care for symptom management and pain control. Patients may arrange hospice care at home, in a nursing home, assisted living facility, local contracted hospitals or Holy Redeemer Inpatient Hospice Unit.

The Hospice Programs also offers Respite Care (a short-term option for caregivers who need need a break from the day-to-day responsibilities of caring for a loved one.

Provides specialized Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) care and supervision in a protective secure setting. Services include medication assistance, individualized care plan, health monitoring, nutritious meals and snacks, mind stimulating activities, exercise programs, community outings and projects, pet and music therapy.
Also offers both drop-in and respite care when slots are available.

Trains volunteers and screens volunteers and their pets for visiting animal programs in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools, and other facilities.

Offers a variety of activities to promote lifelong learning and wellness as well as daily grab and go lunches Monday through Friday. The activities on Campus are designed to enhance personal, holistic wellness. Older Adults may participate in socially distant in-person activities such as fitness classes and walking clubs, art classes, pet therapy, health presentations, and psychoeducational workshops. Many programs are also offered virtually including mindfulness, discussion groups, and smoking cessation.

Serves as a voluntary health organization that advocates and supports research into pediatric cancers. Donates ICEE machines to children's hospitals, offers a pet therapy program, and provides financial assistance to children with cancer and their families.

The PFL Emotional Support Program is geared towards late elementary, middle school, and high school students who benefit from additional support for emotional and social challenges within an educational setting.

PFL pets can provide a calming presence, help to relieve stress and anxiety, and provide a tool to help teach students healthy social skills during this uniquely challenging time of life.

The Read to Pet Pal program helps children improve their literacy skills, confidence and self-esteem by reading to animals.

Integrates activities of daily living, and emphasizes the importance of human relationships, personal friendships, and family interaction. Therapies include music therapy, salon therapy, validations, reminiscence therapy, and pet therapy.

Therapeutic summer camp which provides a positive, supportive atmosphere for all participants regardless of their abilities. Campers experience the exact same recreational activities as a child would without disabilities. Structured thematic days include:

The recreational activities focus on each child's needs in the areas of socialization and communication skills. The staff to child ratio is 1-1 or 1-2. All sessions are supervised by licensed social workers and/or special education teachers. A nurse is present at all programs to address any medical needs.

Regional resource connection for Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) and Human/Animal Interactions (HAI).
- Provides informational presentations to facilities and the community to further introduce them to KPETS and the benefits of AAI and HAIs.
- Recruits, trains, educates and registers volunteers wanting to share their pet with those who may benefit from the human/animal bond.
- Provide opportunities for facilities, agencies and individuals requesting pet therapy visits to connect with KPETS volunteers.

Provides the catalyst for positive change by motivating emotionally and physically challenged individuals. Opens dialogue with the abused, disabled, sick, lonely, injured or depressed. Programs inspire learning and change and include everyone. Certified therapy dog teams are personally committed to bring joy and inspiration.

Programs that help emotionally disturbed or isolated individuals improve their personal and social functioning by giving them an opportunity to care for and relate to a domestic animal that is kept as a pet. Also included are programs that bring dogs or other small pets to visit people residing in a nursing facility or another institutional setting who are ill or elderly or have disabilities; and those that employ R.E.A.D. dogs who volunteer with their owner/handler as a team, going to schools, libraries and many other settings as reading companions for children.

Operation Save-A-Vet, Save-A-Pet is a program dedicated to helping Franklin County veterans with service-connected disabilities to lead happier, healthier, and more productive lives. This program benefits the veteran, the dog, and the community. Service dogs have proven to be highly valuable in assisting veterans with all types of disabilities, including, but not limited to, diabetes, seizure disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and traumatic brain injury. Our dogs come from local rescues and shelters, and a few select breeding lines, and are provided with highly specialized training and care. These dogs are then capable of serving veterans with a number of physical and psychological needs.

During the process of training service dogs, foster families may be utilized to house and care for the puppies. Selection of these foster families will remain at the sole discretion of the Franklin County Veterans Affairs Office. Foster families will be required to meet all ethical standards, policies, and

Eldergarden is designed to improve the quality of life of individuals with functional impairments. There are many benefits to a day services program; specifically, the program allows individuals to remain in their own homes and provides relief for caregivers.
