ELECT services include Fathering support groups, life skills training, family budgeting, academic/homework assistance, attendance tracking, child development and parenting skills.

Provides pregnant and parenting teens support that is needed to overcome barriers to attendance while obtaining a high school diploma or GED. Some of the services include: parenting groups, assistance with bus tickets to appointments, referral for in-home providers to help prepare home for child, assistance with completing housing and job applications, and other supports according to the needs of the student. Students will earn Baby Bucks to purchase diapers, wipes, and other items needed for themselves and their child while participating in ELECT activities. Provides transitional services for up to 120 days for students who have graduated, or successfully completed an education program. The Transition Program is available to further aid with employment, and/or exploring post-secondary education options, housing, child care, etc.

Provides support for pregnant and parenting teens. Helps male and female teen parents in Lycoming County stay in school and graduate. Support involves case management of the student, including parenting, child development and prevention of a second pregnancy. Educational group sessions are conducted weekly, as well as one-to-one counseling sessions, home visits and summer programs.
Eligibility: Teenage parents.
