Allegheny County DHS - Food Assistance
SummerFood Program serves children up to 18 years of age, living in low-income communities. During the months of June through August, SummerFood provides free, nutritious breakfasts and lunches to children at any one of nearly 110 Allegheny County locations outside the City of Pittsburgh. The program serves children without regard to gender, race, religion or disability. The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provides nutritious meals and snacks to community-based programs that offer enrichment activities for at-risk children and youth, 18 and under, after the regular school day ends.

Summer Alive 2020 **COVID- 19 Update** Because of the ongoing risks posed by COVID19, the Summer Alive Day Camp in Montgomery Park is cancelled for 2020. Meal Service Only. At this time, we are offering free take-out breakfast and lunch throughout June and July to all youth age 18 and under. Providing walk-in/pick-up locations and limited delivery in Montgomery Borough as well as in outlying areas, including Brady Township.
