Students at Chief Shikellamy Elementary School have weekend food bags available to them via the school district. Students can register with the district for this program and can collect for not only for themselves but also for any other child living in their home between the ages of 3 and 18 years. Students are given bags of non-perishable type foods every Friday for consumption on the weekends. Registration paperwork is sent home with students around the first or second week of each school year.
