Structured activities include science, group projects, environmental awareness, arts and crafts, games, sports components, field trips, and more. Children also have time to tackle homework with the help of well-trained Y staff who know how to challenge and listen to them.

If your child is enrolled in our School-Age Enrichment program, at your request, he or she can be matched with a pre-qualified Big Brother or Big Sister. Ask your Program Director for more information.

A healthy breakfast and snack is included in your daily rate as well as transportation to and from school.

During the Summer, Youth Alternatives provides multiple exciting activities for the youth of Venango County to participate in. In addition to the daily activities, we offer things like: swimming, movie day, bowling, bake-offs, picnics, fishing and various other outings. Offers a nutritious meal from 1:00pm - 2:00pm throughout the summer.

During the school year, offer a one-on-one homework assistance and a warm nutritious meal from 3:30pm - 4:30pm throughout the school year. Also provides fun, varied after school activities for youth. Many of our activities are learning-based and incorporate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
