Formed in 1986, this all volunteer group raises money and collects food to distribute to needy families. The food is given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Groceries given to each individual or family are equivalent to two grocery bags and include items such as a 10-12 pound turkey, eggs, milk, bread, potatoes, frozen vegetables and fruit. Monetary donations are welcome and are used to defray the costs of purchasing the groceries. The cost to feed one family is generally about $15.00.     Holiday Assistance
    Distributes holiday food bags to Wilkinsburg residents. Individuals and families can sign up for either Thanksgiving or Christmas, and Easter,
    and the food is distributed prior to the Holiday.
    Food pantry is open 5 days a week, 9-1. Families must complete the TEFAP form determining income eligibility. Households can come twice a week to chose the food they want from what we have available.
    Neighbors must wear masks while waiting; practice physical distancing in the wait line; and observe all posted regulations.
