Serves the emergency medical services needs of our community by providing community-based ambulance services

Offers medical car transportation by providing Chair-to-Chair service, where the staff will enter the home, assist the client to their vehicle and will assist the client to their appointment. They can, upon request, wait with the client at their appointment.

Offers wheelchair van transportation for wheelchair bound patients or other mobility challenged clients. Most common destinations are doctor's offices, hospitals and other medical facilities.

Offers wheelchair van service 16 hours per day Monday thru Friday and 12 hours per day Saturday and Sunday to places such as: doctors appointments, dialysis, hospital visits, etc.
Offers non-emergency transportation for those who are confined to their bed.
Also offers transportation to the bank, grocery, store and post office.

Southern Berks Regional EMS has three stations that are located in the first due response area. Station 2 serves as the main office, which includes operations and the administration office.

Distributres ambulances to provide medical support throughout the county.

Provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and emergency transportation by ambulance.

Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) is a transportation service available to people receiving Medical Assistance and is paid for by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Public Welfare (DPW).
You can use MATP services to go to medical appointments or to get to any service Medical Assistnace pays for. These medical services include therapies, tests, dental visits, trips to the pharmacy to get prescriptions, mental health treatment, drug and alcohol treatment, and treips to medical equitment suppliers.

Also provides wheelchair van and medical taxi transportation to and from medical appointments, community paramedicine in-home visit program, educational programs that can be presented in-school, health fairs, etc., health and safety tips, and teaches CPR.

Offers emergency and non-emergency medical services for all pre-hospital treatment and transportation needs. Provides wheelchair vans and ambulances for medical transportation to and from hospitals and other health care related facilities.

Provides air transportation with medical professionals, including nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, paramedics, mental health technicians, and registered dieticians. Services include pre-trip preparation, assistance to and from airports, packing and carrying luggage, ground transportation, and assistance on and off the aircraft. Acute care specialists are also available for chartered air ambulance service.

Provides medical transportation on a emergency and non-emergency basis. Includes 911 calls, hospital to hospital, home to hospital, or hospital to home.

Provides transportation to dialysis centers, doctors' offices, personal care homes, and specialized medical clincs.

Facilities and their respective services include:
- University Hospital offers acute services such as cardio-thoracic surgery, high-risk obstetrical care, neonatal intensive care, adult and pediatric cancer treatment, transplant surgery and brain/spinal cord injuries surgery and rehabilitation. Also serves as the local chapter for the Children's Miracle Network

Psychiatric services include individual/family counseling and child psychiatric diagnostic services

Sponsors numerous disease-related support groups

Provides non-emergency medical transportation for any medical purpose such as interfacility transfers, hospital discharge/admittance, nursing home transfers, out-patient visits, doctor, dentist, eye appointments, physical therapy, MRI facility, and dialysis center.
