Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) is a transportation service available to people receiving Medical Assistance and is paid for by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Public Welfare (DPW).
You can use MATP services to go to medical appointments or to get to any service Medical Assistnace pays for. These medical services include therapies, tests, dental visits, trips to the pharmacy to get prescriptions, mental health treatment, drug and alcohol treatment, and treips to medical equitment suppliers.
