Pennsylvania Prescription Program (65+)
PACE (Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract for the Elderly) and PACENET are prescription programs for Pennsylvania residents age 65 or older with limited income. You can apply for PACE/ PACENET if you have health insurance or limited prescription benefits through other insurance. You are NOT eligible for these programs if you are eligible for prescription benefits under the Medical Assistance program.

Medicare Part D Prescriptions
Under the APPRISE insurance counseling program, specially trained volunteers provide information regarding the numerous plans covered by Medicare and assistance with enrollment in the plan of your choice typically during Open Enrollment.

Offers transit services at a reduced rate for adults age 65+ and persons with disabilities ages 18 to 64. Also provides services to Medicaid recipients through the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) for transportation to and from medical appointments, pharmacies to pick up prescriptions, and medical-related equipment providers if Medicaid pays for those expenses.

Offers vendor transportation or mileage reimbursement to help you get to medical care or services from a Medical Assistance provider. Required to provide individuals with the least expensive, most appropriate transportation service available that will meet needs.

Services can be used to go to medical appointments or to get to any service Medical Assistance pays for. These medical services include: medical and dental visits, trips to the pharmacy to get prescriptions, mental health treatment, drug & alcohol treatment, and trips to medical equipment suppliers.

Provides short-term aid to residents of Mount Joy (17552) only, who are in need of payments of rent or mortgage, medical bills and prescriptions, vehicle expenses and change of address. Do not provide funds for eviction or utlity shut-off notices. The financial aid is not a yearly ongoing gift and amount given depends on monetary donations received.
