Dollar Energy Fund

Utility Payment Assistance

Assists utility customers who meet income and payment eligibility guidelines with a $100 to $500 grant applied directly to their utility bill. Program Dates:

October 1 to November 29: open for services that are off or threat of termination only.
December 2 to March 31: open for services that are off only.
February 3 to February 28: open for services that are off or in threat of termination.

To apply for Dollar Energy funds, the account holder must live in the home. The grant covers residential, single home or apartment service. "Cooking only", commercial, industrial or apartments with shared utility service are not eligible. Applicants can only receive one grant per utility, per program year (October 1st through September 28).
