CAP UGI (Gas) Assistance Program. Program offers qualified low-income customers assistance in managing their gas utility bill. Provides a personalized monthly payment based on income and average bill. Past due debt forgiveness with on time monthly payments is available for those eligible. The difference between the CAP payment and the actual usage bill may also be forgiven.

RUA operates when funds are available by providing temporary financial assistance to eligible County residents with limited income, facing a court ordered eviction or utility shut off.

Administers the Customer Assistance Program (CAP) for lower income Met Ed electric households. Program provides bill subsidy, debt forgiveness and free weatherization services, sponsored by Met Ed and First Energy. Must meet income guidelines.

Provides a range of financial and supportive services to low-income veterans and their families. Assistance can include help with rent, mortgage, or utility payments. After reviewing application and all back-up documentation, applicant will be notified about assistance eligibility. The process may take 2-3 weeks, depending on the type of assistance applied for.

Offers heating assistance in the form of a cash grant paid directly to the heating provider and will only be available to those residents who have exhausted all other potential assistance sources and/or who have been denied based on financial criteria.
