Legal Advocacy works in collaboration with law enforcement, the District Attorney's Office and Crime Victims' Center to assure that domestic violence victims are served efficiently and compassionately. Domestic Violence Center of Chester County has a legal staff which offer clients legal advice and in some cases accompany clients during legal proceedings.

Help with applications for green cards, visa extensions, petitions for relatives overseas, affidavits of support, affidavits of relationship, status inquiries, and low-cost consultations on immigration questions. Support service referrals, such as ESL classes and employment services. Citizenship classes to help immigrants prepare for the naturalization interview.

Offers a free Telephone Counseling and Consumer Education Service. Volunteer counselors give basic self-help information about procedures and laws regarding a wide range of subjects of concern to Pennsylvania women. Family-related topics include domestic violence, child custody, child and spousal support, separation and divorce, and the legal rights of lesbian and gay parents. Work-related topics include family and medical leave, sexual harassment, and employment discrimination. Counselors use the resource database to refer callers to other agencies that may be able to help them. If desired, counselors mail free written materials to callers regarding the areas of concern for them.
