    Task Force on Domestic Violence
A coalition working together to develop and coordinate a unified community response to domestic violence. Its goals are to work toward the prevention and elimination of domestic violence; increase public awareness of domestic violence through education in order to change behavior and attitudes; and to provide leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of domestic violence policy.

Through 6 committees, the task force focuses on specific areas before formulating a unified community response. The committees are clergy, education/media, human service providers, law enforcement/judicial, legislative, and health care providers.

The task force meets monthly to report on committee activities, share information about upcoming prevention events, and discuss strategies to advance its goals.
