Allows individuals to donate or obtain gently used assistive technology devices.

An Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC) providing information & assistance to consumers looking for Assistive Technology that might increase their independence. Items can be obtained through the Telecommunication Device Distribution Program (TDDP) and Assistive Technology Lending Library. Also maintains a Reuse Program where consumers can borrow equipment when in need.

Lends assistive living medical equipment to anyone in need: wheelchairs, walkers, canes, potty chairs and other devices for loan to those who need them in this temporary loan program. Short - term loans of equipment are available for up to 3 months.

Provides home repair and improvement to bring property to minimum safety and health standards. Installs improvements designed to make home accessible to handicapped resident.

Incontinence Supplies. Assistive devices such as canes, walkers and wheelchairs.

Donations of unopened packages of incontinences supplies, unopened nutritional supplements and clean, good working assistive items are gladly welcomed.

Pennsylvania's Assistive Technology Lending Library is a free service that loans assistive technology devices to people with disabilities.

Free Special Phones provides specialized equipment to eligible Pennsylvanians who have disabilities which impede them from having independent access to telephone services. People with disabilities includes people who are deaf, hard of hearing, speech impaired, blind or have visual problems, have physical disabilities or intellectual disabilities.

A free statewide service for people with disabilities, their families, friends, service providers, and other interested individuals who want to find, buy, sell, or donate previously owned assistive technology. Equipment in the REEP Classifieds includes stair glides, adapted vehicles, wheelchairs, vision aids, communication devices and much more.

The Assistive Technology Library is a toy and equipment-lending program. The library is available without charge to a family who has a child with special needs ages birth through 3.

Maintains a list of loan closets that supply medical equipment for loan to community members. Generally the equipment must be picked up, however some groups will make other arrangements. Most groups prefer to serve people within their local area.

The only organization in the Lehigh Valley dedicated to assisting persons with all types of disabilities. Provides community outreach and education, independent living skills, information on adaptive technologies/equipment, advocacy, information and referral, peer support, sign language interpreter referral service and specialized housing search and support. Provides information on programs that will pay for home modifications (to increase accessibility).

Pay for or provide aids such as long canes, laser canes, compasses and raised maps which facilitate the ability of blind people to move safely and efficiently in the school, home or community environment.

Pay for or provide equipment that has been especially designed or adapted to assist people who have physical disabilities to bathe, shave, dress, brush their teeth, com their hair, prepare their meals, eat, drink, clean their homes and perform other daily tasks.

Pay for or provide adaptations including word prediction programs, talking and large print word processors, grammar and spell checkers and reading comprehension programs which enable adults and children with disabilities to do word processing or access other computer programs.

OVR provides services to eligible individuals with disabilities, both directly and through a network of approved vendors. Services are provided on an individualized basis. The OVR counselor, during face-to-face interviews, assists customers in selecting their choice of vocational goals, services and service providers. An Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) is developed, outlining a vocational objective, services, providers and responsibilities. Certain services are subject to a Financial Needs Test (FNT) and may require financial participation by the customer. Counseling and guidance, diagnostic services, assessments, information and referral, job development and placement, and personal services such as readers or sign language interpreters are provided at no cost to the individual. Also, by law OVR customers receiving Social Security benefits for their disability (SSI, SSDI) are exempt from OVR’s Financial Needs Test.

The mission of York Cancer Center is to provide excellent clinical care and comprehensive support services to cancer patients.

Radiation therapy, medical oncology, surgical services, and outpatient infusion services, as well as oncology social workers, oncology dietitians, nurse educators, nurse navigators and a financial counselor are available at this facility. Also provides mammograms.
