Provides a wide variety of programs to help individuals to transition through the changes that come with the passing years. Services may include adult daily living centers, home environment modifications, home delivered meals, respite care, medical supplies and equipment, personal emergency response systems, personal care, transportation, caregiver support, home support, and needs assessments.

Provides information and referrals for local community, in home care for non-medical services, signup site for access transportation, and port authority bus pass for disabled/elderly. Also offers driving course.

Helps individuals and families with transportation costs to attend work or school. Assistance may include car payments, insurance payments, car repairs, gasoline vouchers, bus passes, AAA membership, or car seats.

Public bus transportation consisting of 25 local routes throughout the Lehigh Valley, 4 Allentown school routes and 7 LANtaFlex routes. Local routes provides daily, early am, later evening and Saturday services. Schedules start at 5 am until 12 midnight with modified trips at 2:50am. Average bus fare is $4.00 for a an All Day Pass( unlimited rides on the day it is first used in a LANTA farebox).

Customer Service is available Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am to 4:30 p.m.

LANTA also operates Carbon County Community Transit, aka LYNX, a fixed route network serving Carbon County and LANtaVan, a door-to-door transportation service for seniors and people with disabilities.

Luzerne County public transportation, bus rides fixed route service in Luzerne County. Seniors aged 65 and older can ride for free. Reduced fares available for students passes. Visit website for details on special passes.

Provides transitional transportation assistance and minimizes barriers that prevent persons from being hired and becoming dependable employees. Provides transportation through bus passes, Shared-Ride Transportation, Taxi, mileage reimbursement, child care transportation. Participants may receive benefits for a maximum of one year, with a lifetime amount of benefits. Provides case management form STEP staff, who coordinate progress and target a selection of needed services.

Program utilizes existing transportation assistance systems and case management to assist participants in obtaining and retaining employment. Transportation subsidy assistance is provided on a gradually declining basis as participants achieve longevity in their employment and have the opportunity to develop self-sufficient means of transportation. The program utilizes already existing coordination structures provide the most cost-effective means of transportation assistance. Transitional transportation assistance is available through bus passes, shared-ride transportation, vehicle repair subsidy, mileage reimbursement and child care transportation. Participants are limited to receiving benefits for a maximum of one year. Participants are also limited to a maximum lifetime allowance of $5,000 in benefits.

Provides public transportation that is available to all persons along fixed routes. Wheelchair accessible vehicles available on all routes. Special services include:
* The Senior Free Transit Program: Allows senior citizens to ride free on all fixed-route buses; Must show a Senior Transit ID card; ID can be obtained at RRTA office

* Discounted Passes available for purchase: All Day Passes, 10 Ride Passes and 31 Day Passes

Provides bus tokens and/or passes on a limited basis to transport shelter and transitional/rapid re-housing program participants as well as individuals experiencing homelessness and families to necessary appointments such as medical visits, job interviews, etc.

Vehicle emissions inspections are due once a year at the same time or before annual safety inspections. If your vehicle is required to undergo an emissions inspection, the message "Emissions Inspection Required/Diesel Vehicles Exempt" will be printed on your vehicle registration card to remind you that an emissions inspection is required for your vehicle. If your vehicle doesnât pass inspection, you must make emissions-related repairs and have your vehicle re-inspected before your current safety inspection expires. Provides CAT bus passes to assit with transportion needs to look for employment and/or travel to employment for clients enrolled in our services.

Provides assistance with rent, food, utilities (electric, gas, heating fuel), medications, medical expenses, transportation passes and other emergency necessites on a case to case basis. Assistance is temporary to allow families to get back to finanical sustainability.

Ministry provides assistance with medical issues; help with prescriptions, medical supplies/equipment, dental and visual(glasses) assistance , transportation to appointments out of town, bus passes for reaching medical treatment in town, hygiene items, and clinical pastoral counseling.
