LANTA
Public bus transportation consisting of 25 local routes throughout the Lehigh Valley, 4 Allentown school routes and 7 LANtaFlex routes. Local routes provides daily, early am, later evening and Saturday services. Schedules start at 5 am until 12 midnight with modified trips at 2:50am. Average bus fare is $4.00 for a an All Day Pass( unlimited rides on the day it is first used in a LANTA farebox).

Customer Service is available Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am to 4:30 p.m.

Customer Service in Spanish available Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Provides transitional transportation assistance and minimizes barriers that prevent persons from being hired and becoming dependable employees. Provides transportation through bus passes, Shared-Ride Transportation, Taxi, mileage reimbursement, child care transportation. Participants may receive benefits for a maximum of one year, with a lifetime amount of benefits. Provides case management form STEP staff, who coordinate progress and target a selection of needed services.

STEP - Lock Haven - Employment Transportation Assistance
Program utilizes existing transportation assistance systems and case management to assist participants in obtaining and retaining employment. Transportation subsidy assistance is provided on a gradually declining basis as participants achieve longevity in their employment and have the opportunity to develop self-sufficient means of transportation. The program utilizes already existing coordination structures provide the most cost-effective means of transportation assistance. Transitional transportation assistance is available through bus passes, shared-ride transportation, vehicle repair subsidy, mileage reimbursement and child care transportation. Participants are limited to receiving benefits for a maximum of one year. Participants are also limited to a maximum lifetime allowance of $5,000 in benefits.

If your vehicle is required to undergo an emissions inspection, the message "Emissions Inspection Required/Diesel Vehicles Exempt" will be printed on your vehicle registration card to remind you that an emissions inspection is required for your vehicle.
