Provides an Out-of-School Time Program in eight low income housing communities. Offers free social and emotional learning (SEL) programming, field trips, and other opportunities for children from kindergarten to 17 years old.

During program hours, we provide a snack and full meal to children enrolled in the program and children who live in the communities we serve as well. During the summer, we are open five days a week, from 9am-4pm, and provide similar programming and two meals.

The Give A Meal Program is a joint venture between the York County Food Bank and area school districts that seeks to provide holiday meals for families who cannot afford them.

Participating school districts host food drives for non-perishable food goods, and volunteers from the Food Bank package these goods into holiday meals for local families.

Through this program, many families who are not usually able to afford traditional holiday meals are able to enjoy them.

This is also a wonderful way to give back to your community by volunteering to run a drive and/or help prepare the meal boxes for distribution.

Methodist Services for Children and Families (MSCF) Summer Camp Programs operate on the Monument Road campus as well as at the Beacon Community Center in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Each program is well-structured, has low student to counselor ratios and offers swimming instruction and free swim time daily. All students receive a full meal at lunch-time and two snacks.

The eight one-week sessions start at the end of the school year, and continue through mid-August. Regular activities include off campus trips to area museums, amusement parks or movie theaters to see newly released films and other area cultural or historic places.

Through a special collaboration with Black Women in Sports Foundation, athletic activities include non-traditional sports such as fencing, golf, dance lacrosse and tennis.

Enrollment is open for children who have completed Kindergarten through grade 6, space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Subsidies are accepted and scholarships

Starting Tuesday, children under age 18 can get breakfast and lunch bags at two sites.
Food will be given out through Thursday at Mount Penn Elementary Center and Antietam Middle/Senior High School from 11 am to 12:30pm Weekend boxes will be given out on Thursday that contain extra food.
Children do not need to live in the district to get meals.
Those visiting the distribution sites are asked to stay in their vehicles while staff brings them their food.

RRC - 11th and Pike Recreation Center - Recreation Center
The 11th and Pike Recreation Center provides safe and fun recreation activities to City youth all year long. During the school year, the recreation center is open every day from 3:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and in the summer hosts a playground program daily from 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The center has an elementary-size gymnasium, a game room, homework room, and cafeteria. During the year, daily activities include arts and crafts, board games, sports activities, tutoring, career development workshops and clubs. Some of the most popular clubs include Art and Dance Clubs.

11th and Pike was host to several special events in 2012 including our Easter Celebration and a special visit from Disney’s Phineas and Ferb.

The recreation center serves as a "home away from home" to many kids. They are provided meals every day through our Kids Café program, receive homework help and valuable mentoring time with our qualified staff.

Provides food for children during the 11-week period of summer vacation. Each participating child in the Palmyra and Annville-Cleona School Districts will receive 5 days’ worth of breakfast and lunch to replace what they would receive in school. Those who receive free or reduced meals throughout the school year are encouraged to sign up for the program.
