Early Intervention Program provides an array of home and site-based services for young children from birth to age five, who show delays in their physical, emotional, cognitive, or social development. EIP instructors coach parents in their home environment to interact with their child through play activities that foster the youngster's individuality and self-confidence and build developmental skills. Children with hearing loss learn about themselves as they experience the ever-changing world around them. Our curriculum enhances children's listening, speech and language skills while fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, physical and creative development.

The Peer-to-Peer (P2P) is a unique, experiential learning program for people with any serious mental illness who are interested in establishing and maintaining their wellness and recovery.

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) consists of 10 - two-hour units and is taught by a team of trained "Mentors'' who are personally experienced at living well with mental illness. We've been there. You are not alone. The class meets once a week for a total of nine weeks.

Participants come away many tangible resources: an advance psychiatric directive; a ``relapse prevention plan'' to help identify tell-tale feelings, thoughts, behavior, or events that may warn of impending relapse and to organize for intervention early; mindfulness exercises to help focus and calm thinking; and survival skills for working with providers and the general public. You come away with a lot of resources, skills, knowledge to help in this recovery journey.

CATCH is an evaluation process for children in early intervention who are at risk for autism.

Provides early intervention services in the community for children under the age of 3. Services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, special instruction, and physical therapy. All services are one-to-one with the child. Service locations can include child's home, preschool, or other child care locations.

A comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program that provides diagnostic, evaluative treatments and referral services for children up to 18 years old who have developmental delays or difficulties, learning problems or have physical disabilities or injuries requiring rehabilitation. Good Shepherd also has contracts to serve as a provider of Early Intervention Services for both Lehigh and Northampton counties for children up to three years old.

Offers a 21-week training program for young adults in Philadelphia who are interested in careers in information technology. Participants are eligible for monthly SEPTA passes through maintaining regular attendance, gift cards and other incentives as they earn industry-recognized credentials, and paid internships.

Behavioral support is provided wherever it is needed, including in the home, school, or daycare, wherever the child encounters challenges that need to be addressed. Treatment can address diagnoses that include depression, anxiety or mood disorders, ADHD, etc. Services can include Mobile Therapy, Behavioral Services Consultant and Behavioral Health Technician.

All services can be provided to families through the PA Dept. of Public Welfare or can be provided by private insurance through Act 62.

Provided in the child's least restrictive environment (LRE) and may include: specialized instruction, hearing support, vision support, speech/language support, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and transportation. Services are determined by the child's (IEP) team.
