The Peer-to-Peer (P2P) is a unique, experiential learning program for people with any serious mental illness who are interested in establishing and maintaining their wellness and recovery.

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) consists of 10 - two-hour units and is taught by a team of trained "Mentors'' who are personally experienced at living well with mental illness. We've been there. You are not alone. The class meets once a week for a total of nine weeks.

Participants come away many tangible resources: an advance psychiatric directive; a ``relapse prevention plan'' to help identify tell-tale feelings, thoughts, behavior, or events that may warn of impending relapse and to organize for intervention early; mindfulness exercises to help focus and calm thinking; and survival skills for working with providers and the general public. their parent(s)/guardian(s) have concerns regarding their development.
Infants/toddlers are eligible to receive early intervention services
when they are determined, through evaluation, to have a 25% or greater
delay in one or more of five developmental areas (i.e.: Cognitive
development, language/speech development, social/emotional
development, Physical development and/or self-help development). A
child is eligible for at-risk tracking services if they meet one (1)
of the following criteria: 1. Birth weight under 3.5 pounds 2. Cared
for in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) 3. Born to chemically
dependent mother and referred by a physician, health care provider or
parent 4. Abused or neglected, as substantiated and referred by the
county children and youth agency under Child Protective Services Law

Department of Health 6. Experiencing homelessness

Saint Joseph's Center
Scranton - Early Intervention Services
Teachers and/or therapists provide this service to infants and young children in their own home or in a day care setting. The family-based program is available to children living in Wayne, Lackawanna and Susquehanna counties.

The process begins with evaluations. Program plans are then devised with input from county personnel, parents and Center staff.

During scheduled sessions, the special-needs instructor/therapist works with the child and his or her family on routine-based activities that foster developmental growth.

SAM - Schuylkill - Early Intervention
Early Intervention is an entitlement program for children from birth to 3 years, who have a developmental delay of 25% or more in one or more of the major areas of development (physical, sensory, cognitive, language/speech, social-emotional and self-care). At-risk children, including infants affected by premature birth, alcohol, drugs or lead poisoning and infants who have been abused or neglected are eligible for services. An entitlement program means that any eligible child, regardless of financial status, is entitled to receive services. Services include, among others, family training, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and assessment which are coordinated by Support Coordinators.

Lebanon County Mental Health/Intellectual Disability/Early Intervention Program (MH/ID/EI) - Early Intervention Program
Provides funding and administrative oversight for services in the community that support people and their families living with serious and persistent mental illness, children and adolescents with a mental health diagnosis, individuals with intellectual disability, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and children birth to age three (3) for early intervention services.
Through an intake process, a person’s eligibility for services and funding is determined and referrals are made to appropriate programs that correspond to service needs.

developmental delay or at risk of developing a delay. Delay is defined
as 25% delay of the child's chronological age or 1.5 standard
deviation below the mean in the following developmental domains:
cognitive, communication, physical, social/emotional, and
adaptive/self-help. Child can also qualify if they have been diagnosed
with a medical condition that places them at risk for delays such as
down syndrome, autism, vision or hearing impairment.
