Accepts reports of dangerous weapons, drug crime, gang activity, hate crimes, general crime, and non-emergency crime. Also provides community patrols, seasonal bike patrol officers, K-9 units, and other special services.

Conducts intake and investigations of discrimination complaints in housing, employment and public accommodations. Monitors and reports hate crimes and other civil tensions within the City and surrounding areas, working with local, state, and federal agencies. Advocates for the civil rights of all citizens of the city.

A group of state agencies working to prevent and respond to civil tension and violence arising from conflicts between ethnic or cultural groups and public expressions of bias or hate. PHRC Tracks reported bias-related incidents around PA to inform the PA Interagency Task Force.
