The Southeastern Veterans Center is currently recruiting volunteers to serve the needs of the veterans in the center. Volunteers show our residents that someone still cares about them and they are regarded as real friends who prove that the residents are not alone.
Here are some of the ways you can help:
- Assisting with Center activities
- Assisting on field trips
- Visiting with residents
- Escorting wheelchair-bound residents
- Distributing mail
- Assisting residents at mealtime
- Providing musical entertainment
