    The York County Clerk of Courts office is responsible for all of the criminal court records for the York County Court of Common Pleas. We maintain a record of the docketing/events associated with approximately 8,000 criminal cases per year (now available on-line), schedule events (trials, pre-trial conferences, current business) at the Court's direction, and collect approximately $9 million in costs, fines and restitution from criminal defendants each year.     The Tax Claim Bureau is responsible for collecting delinquent real estate taxes for the 14 school districts and the 67 townships/boroughs located throughout Schuylkill County. All real estate taxes are considered delinquent if not paid by December 31st of the current year. Any unpaid taxes are returned to the Tax Claim Bureau during the month of January and are assessed with a filing fee of $50.00 per parcel returned. Interest begins to accrue in February at a rate of 9% annually. Acceptable forms of payment for delinquent taxes are cash, money order, cashier's check, certified check and bank check. No personal or business checks will be accepted. Payments can be made on-line. Tax lien certification is available for a fee of $15.00 per parcel.
