Wallace-Cross Mill is a restored 1826 water-powered grist mill located near Cross Roads, East Hopewell Township. Wallace-Cross Mill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Harry Cross, the last operator of the mill presented the building to York County in 1979.

    John C. Rudy County Park is located in East Manchester Township, near Emigsville. Totalling 150 acres, it features pavilions, sports fields, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, open recreational space, a cross-country running trail, a BMX track and the popular Canine Meadows Off-Leash Dog Area. It is also home to the Parks Administrative Offices, located in a 1798 stone house, the maintenance headquarters, Penn State Master Gardener Trial Gardens, and numerous other buildings. The land was donated in 1973 by George B. Rudy and Viola Rudy Williams in memory of their grandparents, John and Mary Rudy.

  • Softball and Soccer Fields - Three regulation softball
    fields and five regulation soccer fields can be reserved
    for a fee. Fields are closed during "wet conditions". Call
    the Park's Headquarters, for up-to-date field conditions or visit the Park's Facebook or Twitter pages.

    • Canine Meadows Off-Leash Dog Area Three
      large fenced in areas where dogs can run off leash. Open
      every day. Review regulations posted at site.

    • Horseshoe Pits - Horseshoe pits are located near the
      pavilions.

    • Sand Volleyball Courts - Three sand volleyball
      courts are located in the park.

    • 5K Cross Country Course - The 5 kilometer (3.1
      mile) grass course covers nearly every park corner.

    • Playgrounds - Four ADA playgrounds

    • Multi-purpose Trails - A 1+ mile paved trail is open
      to biking, hiking, jogging, and rollerblading. Trail is
      stroller and wheelchair accessible. Horses are not allowed
      on the trail or within the park.

    • Picnic Tables - Picnic tables are located in the shade
      of large trees, perfect for quiet picnics.

    • Pavilion and Gazebo Rental - 11 ADA Pavilions
      and one gazebo may be rented for a fee. Pavilion capacity
      ranges from 75 - 200 persons. Ensure availability by
      making reservations in advance by calling the Administrative
      Headquarters or reserving online on our Pavilion rental portion of the website. Fees are non-refundable.

    • Winter Sports - Sledding and cross-country skiing.

    • Life Trail Exercise Stations– Ten outdoor Wellness
      Stations provide well-rounded fitness programs for active adults.

    • Bumps & Berms BMX Club - This group sponsors
      bicycle racing on their special dirt track. The track can
      only be used during ABA sanctioned events.
