Consumers who present for face to face appointments must be screened via phone prior to their appointment, as well as wear a mask when they are present in the office. We are only permitting 1 additional person per appointment (i.e. a minor and their parent). Individuals in need of emergency mental health and/or drug and alcohol support may present at Fulton County Medical Center, or request a mobile service. Our crisis intervention specialists provide quality mental health and substance abuse services to any individual in need. We determine the root cause of the crisis and offer counseling to promote independence, personal growth, and collaborative decision-making intended to assist the individual's to return to a pre-crisis state. Crisis intervention specialists can aid in developing safety plans, identifying community supports, information and referral services, emergency mental health assessments, and if medically necessary, acute care inpatient hospitalizations. Our emergency crisis program offers 24/7 assistance.
