Offers Pennsylvania residents who may not have the funds necessary to acquire the assistive technology devices such as walkers, Hoyer lifts, bath seats and toilet seats, transfer benches and transfer boards, bedside commodes, over bed tables, manual wheelchairs, daily living aids (eating, dressing, etc.), assistive listening devices, blind/low vision aids, adapted telephones, communication and computer-related devices, canes and crutches, adaptive games, toys, and recreational devices that would allow them to live, work, and play as independently as possible in the communities of their choice are able to get the equipment for little to no cost. Allows individuals to donate or obtain gently used assistive technology devices.

In-Home Care for Community Health Choices (CHC)
provides non-medical In-home care services to eligible participants in the Community Health Choices(CHC) program. Services include but are not limited to assistance with daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, light housekeeping, companionship and shopping errands. In addition to the CHC/Waiver program, Angels On Call also provides services to participants seeking care with Private Duty, VetAssist, Adult Protective Services and ODP programs. Our agency aides also provide care for participants dealing with disease management, and dementia & Alzheimer’s.

Older Adult Daily Living Center - The Bentley Center - Recreational Therapy
As Handi-Crafters has grown, we recognized the need for individuals who wished to stop working to have a program in place that would allow them to retire, but remain engaged and active. The new Bentley Center has made this possible. Our Older Adult Daily Living Center is designed to provide meaningful activities for adults with disabilities who are 60 years of age or older and/or for individuals who have been diagnosed with dementia or related illness who wish to retire from their employment program. The program has a 7 to 1 staff-to-participant ratio which gives an opportunity for close bonds to be established. The staff includes a director, activities coordinator and activities aides, who are well trained, with backgrounds in therapeutic recreation, education, health care and other relevant experiences.
