AHTN has volunteers who can use one of our vehicles to drive individuals and families to various locations throughout Lower Bucks. Individuals who do not have their own transportation can request a ride to various appointments; thrift stores; food pantries; grocery stores; welfare office; laundromat; etc.

Offers fixed bus routes, free fares and shared rides for seniors, discounted fares for youth and paratransit services.

Provides reimbursement for transportation to and from medical related appointments when an ACCESS card is used for the service.
In some instances, when individuals lack transportation, arrangements for non-emergency transport can be made.

Offers an extensive life-long learning curriculum, a vibrant arts and humanities program, a rewarding intergenerational program and a wide array of trip opportunities and evidence-based health promotion and wellness programs, including an on-site fitness center. Center programs also offer diverse groups of people opportunities to connect and to better understand each other.

Curb-to-curb transportation primarily for senior citizens (persons age 65 and over) and persons whose disabilities prevent their use of the CATABUS system. The operation of the CATARIDE program is contracted out to Right Right LLC of State College. There is a fee associated with this service.

Provides transportation services to clients of Centre County Government and other social service agencies. Centre County transportation is a "shared ride" demand-response service.

Provides transportation if the client is Present at the pick-up curb and can depart the vehicle at the drop off point.

Shared Ride Program for Senior Citizens: Individuals aged 60 and older may use Shared Ride trips for a medical appointment, banking, grocery shopping, employment, post office, senior center, adult day care center, pharmacy, social service agency, Laundromat, hospital/nursing home admittanceor discharge, and visiting for immediate family members (spouse or children).

Offers emergency ambulance response, non-emergency ambulance transports for those needing medical care during transfers to other medical facilities, paramedic intercept response in conjunction with volunteer fire departments. Also provides wheelchair van and medical taxi transportation to and from medical appointments, community paramedicine in-home visit program, educational programs that can be presented in-school, health fairs, etc., health and safety tips, and teaches CPR.

Offers emergency ambulance response, non-emergency ambulance transports for those needing medical care during transfers to other medical facilities, paramedic intercept response in conjunction with volunteer fire departments. Provides free transportation to local appointments via volunteer availability. Does not provide financial assistance to help resolve the need. All services are totally dependent on volunteer availability.

Provides individuals with rides to medical appointments, shopping, recreational activities, jobs, and appointments at social service agencies.

If you are a Medical Assistance recipient, you may be eligible to get help with transportation to and from medical appointments and care. Transportation is provided by the County of Lackawanna Transportation System (COLTS).
The Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) is a transportation service available to Medical Assistance consumers in Lackawanna County. MATP is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
MATP can help you get to medical care or services from a Medical Assistance Provider by providing transportation or mileage reimbursement.

Provides local transportation assistance if a volunteer is able to assist.

Offers reduced fare, shared-ride transportation to persons with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Program can be used for medical trips if you are ineligible for the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP). PWD can also be used for trips to work, social events, shopping and most other trip needs. No out of county trips.

Provides LCTA Shared Ride van service to the general public at cost to rider. No out of county trips.

Transportation service that reduces the fare for eligible persons with disabilities lending affordable and accessible transportation. Persons with disabilities between the ages of 18 and 64 may travel anywhere in Monroe County with this program.

Public shared ride (paratransit) services are available to any registered user.

Offers counseling, education, socialization/recreation, home-delivered meals, telephone reassurance, volunteer opportunities, legal assistance, and health insurance. Specific services include counseling, center/medical transportation (OPT/ACCESS), and non-medical.

Services operate Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except on STEP-observed holidays and are available to anyone living in or visiting Lycoming and Clinton counties. Transportation is available to travel anywhere within the service area consisting of the following counties: Lycoming, Clinton, Centre, Union, Northumberland, Columbia, Snyder, and Montour. Transportation fares per one-way trip are based on ride sponsorships and a zone-based, miles-driven fare structure. Refer to the fares and sponsorship information for more information. Consumers must reserve their ride before noon of the preceding business day. Some consumers may be eligible for enrollment in transportation sponsoring programs, which make fares reasonable.

Provides non-emergency paratransit transportation to medical appointment. Transportation is available to travel anywhere within the service area.

Provides transportation for individuals who have a disability. Under this reduced fare program, an individual can ride to work, get groceries, and more through shared-ride transportation. Offers both in-county and out-of-county trips.

Provides transportation for medical appointments, WIC appointments, social service agency visits, grocery shopping, miscellaneous needs, and Senior Center activities.

Provides three basic types of Transportation services including, Shared-Ride, Fixed Routes, Exclusive/Premium Services.

Both the Shared-Ride and Fixed Route Programs are available to the general public as well as agency-sponsored passengers. Exclusive or Premium services are limited to agency clientele only.
