Offers a workforce development program that helps individuals find a good paying and sustainable career. Our case managers work with any individual experiencing a barrier to employment, including individuals struggling with drug and alcohol abuse or mental health concerns.

When individuals graduate from one of the Employment Institute's programs, they are prepared to take on the real world of work and have the training to succeed.

Participants take technical classes at Johnson College to obtain industry-specific credentials. In addition to classes, participants take part in employee readiness workshops that relate to workplace knowledge, professionalism, and long-term success. After program completion, participants will have earned professional certification in a high-priority occupation and find gainful employment. Career opportunities include healthcare (both clinical and administrative), information technology, diesel mechanics, building and property management, welding, and industrial technology.
