Holiday Assistance Programs include:

Donations can be dropped off at the side of the building Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 4:00pm, Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm. Perishable items can be brought inside.

Special programs such as a Thanksgiving Meal (basket) Distribution and Christmas Gift Distribution are offered during the holidays to children and residents who reside in the Marvine-Pembroke low-income housing development.

Provides a turkey to Northern Lancaster County residents in need. Limited quantity. Must pre-register.

Coordinates the exchange of gifts in the Ephrata and Cocalico region. Churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals donate gifts to families who have signed up for the program.

Provides limited direct financial assistance, financial planning, emergency heat response, automobile repair, furniture/household items/appliances/clothing/toiletries, back to school and holiday assistance, counseling/guidance, and life skill support. Coordinates medical transportation. Offers volunteer opportunities.

Needs based program that provides gifts to children during the holidays. For children between 0-18. Online registration open October 10 through November 14, 2023.

Christmas Eve Event

Offers a food and supplies pantry for eligible individuals and families.

Offers county-wide food distribution. Vouchers will be distributed one per household. Venango County Community Support Services, in conjunction with the United Way of Venango County, will be distributing annual Christmas Food Vouchers.

ECM will be handing out Christmas turkey and fixings bags. First come, first served. Food will be handed out until it is gone.

- Angel Tree: Provides Winter clothing and gifts for children ages birth to 12 years. Gifts are purchased by individuals in the community. Families sign-up throughout October during a face-to-face interview.
- Angel Tree Senior and Veterans: Provides seniors and veterans with small needs that they may have.
- Adopt-a-Family: Families are identified and sent to local agencies and groups wishing to meet the needs of the family beyond toys for the children for Christmas.
