The Emergency Delivery Program is intended to help Union and Snyder county residents living with low income in emergency situations in between scheduled food pantries or distributions who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, vulnerable to covid-19, lack of transportation, remote location, and/or without childcare.
Items include food, personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and diapers.
Deliveries will now be made Tuesdays and Thursdays only, unless there is an urgent need specified.
The cut-off for delivery is noon on the day prior to delivery (e.g. Monday or Wednesday) to allow 24 hours to pack and organize delivery. Deliveries will be made between 4-5 PM. The driver will call the customer when on their way to their location.
