    The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank knows learning doesn’t end when school lets out; neither does a child’s need for healthy, nutritious food. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) allows the Food Bank to partner with churches, community organizations and public parks to provide free, nutritious meals and snacks to children during the summer months. You can also text FOOD to 877-877 or email info@centralpafoodbank.org. All children under the age of 18 are eligible to receive free meals at approved SFSP sites. Food distribution is held at the First Baptist Church in Lewisburg on the first and third Fridays of the month. Backpack food consists of nutritious food items that children can easily prepare for themselves if necessary.
