This program is designed to provide mental health services to children and adolescents birth through 20 years of age. Its purpose is to prevent psychiatric hospitalization or out of home placement for the child who is at risk and in need of an intensive level of service. The primary goal of Family Based services is to enable parents to care for their children at home. The program seeks to strengthen the family unit, improve coping skills, teach family members to care for the child and serve as an advocate. Family Based is a voluntary service to the family and requires the agreement of the parent or guardian. Services are delivered in the home by a team of trained mental health professionals who work in partnership with the parents of the child.

We will provide health care to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of the community. We will offer screening services for the inner-city community, including substance-abuse addicts, the homeless, prostitutes, and youth, which are high-risk for HIV, diabetes, hypertension, and tuberculosis. We will increase access to health care by referring individuals to where they can receive further medical care, counseling, or support services.
