CareGivers America and Philips Lifeline collaborate to offer local patients personal emergency response systems. Emergency response buttons enable them to reach live emergency personnel with the push of a button. They will talk the individual through their current situation and notify specified emergency contacts. “User friendly” Medication & Personal Reminder Assistants are another available technology. The “assistant” dispenses up to 60 doses of medication in accordance with the client’s medication schedule. CareGivers and family members can record personal voice messages that will play when the scheduled doses should occur.

Patient Advocate Foundation - Co-Pay Relief Program
Patient Advocate Foundation Co-Pay Relief Program provides direct financial assistance to qualified patients, including Medicare Part D beneficiaries, assisting with co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles required by your insurer for pharmaceutical treatments and/or prescription medications relative to your diagnosis. Co-Pay Relief call counselors work directly with the patient as well as with the provider of care to obtain necessary medical, insurance and income information to advance the application in an expeditious manner. Upon approval, payments are made:

  • To the Pharmacy,
  • To the Patient Directly.
