Clinics provide immunizations, STD/HIV testing, pregnancy testing, screening for prostate and breast cancer and monitoring of chronic diseases. Services include: Environmental Health services include sanitation, animal control, lead abatement and food services. Clinic services: - Family Planning Clinic, immunization clinic and TB clinic are available by appointment only. - Wellness Center at the Health Bureau offers some immunizations and health screenings. Open Monday and Friday, 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Appointments preferred. - Walk in STD clinic offered Wednesdays 10:00am to 1:00pm, free for Bethlehem City residents Emergency Preparedness Division educates individuals and businesses on preparing for natural disasters, epidemics and/or other emergencies. Recruits and trains the medical reserve corps, a medical related volunteer corps that can be mobilized in response to disasters. Maternal and Child Health services include free dental care for uninsured children attending Bethlehem school district and in-home asthma trigger assessments. Chronic Disease and Health Education Programs focus on smoking prevention/cessation, injury prevention, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis.
