HDC sites are not all HUD subsidized (Rent based on 30% of income). Through the tax credit program, apartments require minimum and maximum income guidelines to be met to qualify. Section 8 and most housing vouchers are accepted at the tax credit apartments. They have locations in PA, DE and MD.

Provides affordable rental and owner occupied housing and promotes neighborhood revitalization for low and moderate income families in Lancaster County. Additionally, assistance is provided with mortgage application, credit report updates, inspection of property to determine potential problems or needs. Classes are held to teach the home buying process and requirements which include Spanish speaking instruction.

Literature and speakers available. In most cases, HUD does not provide direct service to the public. Callers can request the list of HUD - subsidized housing. There are three housing lists, one for families, one for the elderly, and one for persons with disabilities.
