Patient education, Information and support for adults, young adults, and children with epilepsy and their families, and those working with individuals living with seizures.

Protects and enhances the civil rights of people of color. Also advocates for equity and fairness in housing, employment, voting, political representation, education, health, and other areas of citizenship.

Provides free legal services and advocacy to Pennsylvanians having trouble accessing publicly funded health care coverage or services. Promotes access to public health insurance programs and services for persons with disabilities, the elderly, and low-income.

Handles complaints of discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, place of birth, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, familial status, age, handicap/disability, use of a support animal, status as a victim of domestic violence, and gender identity/expression in the areas of employment, housing, and public accommodations. Provides training regarding civil rights and responsibilities.
