Interpreting, Translating & Consulting Service has been created as a sustainability program that assist businesses & organizations who want to build a successful relationship with the Immigrant Community. We offer a culturally competent infrastructure with a primary goal of overcoming the language barrier and an appropriate level of literacy content.BOPiC's insurance coverage for our staff of Bi-lingual Professionals include comprehensive general liability, worker's compensation, professional liability, fidelity bond, casualty loss, theft, errors & omission insurance. BOPiC, Inc. has a contract for Spanish Translation/Interpretation Services with the Franklin/Fulton County Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities Program (effective September, 2012).

Provides newly arrived refugees with basic needs and case management to help them get settled.

English as a second language classes are regularly offered. Translation services are available. Volunteer opportunities are available. Automobile donations accepted -- call for details.

In addition to the usual range of core services the Family Service Center in Chester has contracts through which services are provided to the community. These contracts are with the Office of Adult Services/Delaware County, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The programs funded focus on persons with AIDS who are in need of housing and programs to provide counseling and case management services to homeless individuals and families.

Due to COVID-19, the office is doing all the intakes over the phone and are not accepting any walk-ins. If someone does show up, HELP will take their phone number to call them and send them away. The only exception would be someone without a phone and those residents should expect to have a long wait.

Helps people for whom English is not their first language work through the human service system to obtain benefits and services.

Assists with translation of documents and/or basic services needed for employment.
