Designed to meet the specific needs of elderly tenants through phone counseling and home visits. In addition, the program can provide a small number of adaptive modifications in the homes of low-income senior tenants who need them in order to remain in their apartment. Modifications are generally grab bars for the bathtub or toilet, handheld showers, and bath benches.

2. Charging additional rent due to race, color, etc.
3. Requiring a rental agreement or lease which provides that the tenant shall remain childless or may not maintain a household with a person of a certain age
4. Failing to allow a service/support animal for a person with a disability in an apartment or house with a no pet policy.
5. Not allowing a tenant with a disability that receives social security disability payments the reasonable accommodation of paying rent at a date later than the first of each month when a tenant receives their check after the first.

Produces a series of housing rights and responsibilities materials as well as offers private consultations for individuals seeking to understand their specific housing situation.

The center also provides educational information on an individual basis and through agency seminars. Also presents "Fair Housing 101", a free, one hour training course that provides discussion and information on fair housing laws and their application.

- The victim/survivors permission is sought prior to any action taken.
