The therapeutic focus of the program centers on assessment and crisis stabilization and is individualized for each child and family situation. Services for adolescents offer assessment and effective treatment of patients between the ages of 14 and 18. The program focuses on the complex needs of adolescents and addresses difficulties such as substance abuse, trauma and relationship problems. Treatment is focused on crisis resolution and family re-engagement.

Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Program
Roxbury Treatment Center's inpatient psychiatric program for adolescents is designed to treat youth ages 13-17. We provide acute psychiatric stabilization and co-occurring substance abuse treatment in a caring and nurturing environment while focusing on the individual needs of each patient. While in our care, our patients will receive: Thorough psychiatric evaluation Nursing care 24-hours daily Individual counseling Group therapy Family therapy Academic services Substance abuse evaluation and treatment (when indicated) Allied therapies to include art, music, and recreation Please contact our admissions department if you have any questions related to your specific situation In addition to these services, our program is designed to focus on the individual strengths of each patient and develop an individual treatment care plan that will focus on these strengths. We strongly encourage family involvement while the patient is in our care.
