The goal of Operation REACH (Relief for Emergency Assistance through Community Help) is to assist veterans who are struggling with substance abuse and/ or co-occurring mental health needs get the help that they need.
This initiative will focus on the comprehensive needs of the veteran and delivering services through a holistic approach.
Operation REACH will strive to provide intervention support services through a targeted case management model. Veterans and their families will benefit from targeted case management through assistance in coordination with basic necessities.
Unlike many programs, characterization of discharge will not serve as eligibility criteria for Operation REACH.

Mental Health Financial Assistance
Provides some financial assistance for uncovered mental health-related medications, treatment and support services.

Touchstone Foundation
Mental Health Access Assistance
Offers financial assistance for visits to mental health care providers. Pays $40 per visit to cover patient's out-of-pocket copay or annual deductible from private insurance.

Provides benefits to receive behavioral health services such as inpatient psychiatric hospital, psychiatric outpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient d&a services, family-based mental health services, targeted case management (intensive case management and resource coordination), and etc.
