    Stephen's Place
    Stephen's Place - Halfway House
    Halfway house for non-violent adult males with a history of substance abuse who are coming out of prison and need a safe environment where they can re-integrate into society. Services for residents include counseling, twelve-step meetings, life skills/budget training and assistance securing employment. Residents are also referred to educational, vocational, drug/alcohol and rehabilitation services in the community for additional services. Adult, male, non-violent offenders who are currently drug/alcohol free may be referred by prison counselors, the parole system or treatment counselors. Self referrals will also be considered. Ex-offenders convicted of a violent crime, sex crime or arson are not eligible for this program.

    Transition to Community
    Helps to meet the transitional needs of pre and post release male prisoners and their families in order to prepare them for reintegration into the community. Networks with other ministries and organizations and connects clients to resources. Provides pre-release orientation classes to educate sentenced men who are eligible for release. Also provides post-release services with a continuum of care through case management and supervised transitional housing for men who choose to participate in the program with the objective of a changed lifestyle. Program provides basic housing, Bible study, individual and budget counseling. Occupants must obtain employment. Case management services also available to non-residents.

Also approved as a Home Plan for prisoners being paroled and released from prison in Pennsylvania.
