After her husband passed away, Gayle wanted to donate his mobility scooter to someone who needed it. It was in good condition, and she wanted someone to get the same independence and empowerment from it as he did.
Gayle didn’t know of any local organizations that would be able to get it to a person in need, so she called 211. Our Resource Navigator connected her with a local nonprofit that had a client in great need of this item. After Gayle contacted the agency and donated the scooter, she reached out to let us know that it all went smoothly.
