Provides Early Intervention Service (EIS) coordination for Allegheny County families. Connects children in need with intervention services provided at their home or day care location.

Eligibility: Children of Allegheny County residents, from birth to age 3 who have diagnosed, or suspected intellectual or developmental delays.
Hours: Service hours vary. Providers independently schedule their appointments.

Fee Amounts: Service provided free of charge.
Intake Procedure: Call to schedule an evaluation, or to be connected with a provider if new to Allegheny County and the child previously received EIS elsewhere.
Intake Requirements: Need to speak to parent or legal guardian before a record is started.

Helpful Tips: Services are in-home or at child care. Parents/custodial legal guardians may self-refer or request a referral from the child's pediatrician.
