Offers a variety of health and nutrition services for medically or nutritionally at-risk mothers and children. Provides EBT cards that can be used at participating grocery stores for infant formula, milk, eggs, cheese, cereal, juices, and other nutritious foods.

Eligibility: Allegheny County residents who are:
Pregnant individuals; Breastfeeding individuals or bottle-feeding individuals who recently had a baby; Infants up to 1 year of age; Children up to 5 years of age; A custodial father, foster parent, or legal guardian of a child up to age 5 may apply to receive WIC benefits for that child.

Please note, US citizenship is NOT required to get WIC.

Fee Amounts: There is no fee to enroll in WIC. Participants are required to meet income guidelines of 185% of poverty (or lower) to qualify. People can be adjunctively eligible if they receive Medical Assistance, TANF, or SNAP.
Intake Procedure: There are four ways to get started with WIC:

1) Visit the intake website and complete an online pre-application

3) Call to request an appointment

Once you submit your application, WIC staff will contact you to set an appointment for you to get enrolled.
