Offers instruction and experiences that improve daily living skills and foster independence.

Instruction is provided one-on-one or in peer group settings, depending on the client's needs.

Eligibility: Members of the Deaf and HoH community who also have intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs.

Fee Amounts: Call for information. Fees may be paid in whole or part by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), waiver programs, insurance, or grants.
Intake Procedure: Call to schedule an initial intake interview.
Geographical Area: Serves 25 counties in Western Pennsylvania. Parents/guardians may select the site based on convenience.
Helpful Tips: Instructors focus on five key areas: academics, computer training, physical education, social skills development, and Deaf culture. This program provides clients with the opportunity to experience self-growth through improved communication and social interaction.

Group sessions are conducted with peers of similar age and ability.
