Works closely with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office and the police to assist in interactions with both entities and work to ensure your rights. Center for Victims is a separate, non-profit organization that serves the needs of crime victims, witnesses, families, and communities impacted by violence.

Offers Rights, Information, and Legal Support; Accompaniment & Advocacy; Counseling and Therapy; Victims Compensation; Offender Release Information & Notification; Victim Offender Dialogue (Restorative Justice Program).

Domestic Violence Services: Protection From Abuse Order Assistance; Counseling & Safety Planning; Children's Advocacy and Counseling; Medical Advocacy.

Sexual Assault Services: Medical Advocacy & Accompaniment Visit.

Eligibility: Victims, witnesses, their significant others in cases of sexual/violent crimes including child abuse, rape, robbery, homicide. Will help individuals whose social security checks have been stolen as long as the theft has been reported to the police. Allegheny county residents.
