Pittsburgh - Youth Emergency Shelter
Provides a court ordered shelter until a more permanent living arrangement is secured. The focus is on safety, comprehensive assessment, education, service planning, and family reunification. Youth have access to mental health, substance abuse, medical services, and in most cases attend their schools of origin. Counselors work in partnership with youth, families, case workers, and the court system.

Eligibility: At-risk males and females, age 13 to 20 years, who are actively involved with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Office of Children, Youth and Families (OCYF).
Hours: 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
