Autism Waiver Services, Community Inclusion
Community inclusion is designed to assist participants in acquiring, retaining and improving communication, socialization, self-direction, self-help, and adaptive skills necessary to reside in the community. This service includes activities to improve the individual's activities of daily living (ADLs). These activities usually done at home may include bathing, dressing, and eating. This service also includes acquiring and improving skills to participate in community activities such as shopping and recreation.
