Senior Shared Ride Program
Provides door to door transportation for Westmoreland County residents age 65 and older. Trips using this service can be for any destination, including medical appointments, shopping, places of worship, etc.

Eligibility: Open to Westmoreland County residents age 65 and older.
Hours: Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Service Hours:
Monday through Friday: 7:00am to 7:00pm

Saturday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

Travel to the Pittsburgh area is permitted Wednesday and Friday, with an arrival time of 9:00am with return trip between 2:00pm and 3:00pm.

Intake Procedure: Apply in person at the Transit Center in downtown Greensburg, call to request an application by mail, or visit the intake website to print and return the Senior Shared Ride Application Form.

Completed form, with copy of documentation of age and residency, may be returned in person, by mail, by fax, or by email.

Intake Requirements: Completed application with GO Westmoreland. Proof of age must be provided with application.

Acceptable forms of identification include: Driver's License, PA Identification Card, Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Passport, Military Discharge Papers, or PACE Prescription Card.
Geographical Area: Serves Westmoreland County residents. Outbound trips must originate in Westmoreland County; destinations may also include a five (5) mile "buffer zone" outside the Westmoreland County borders.

Travel to the Pittsburgh area is limited.
Helpful Tips: When older adults 65+ register with the Westmoreland County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for their Priority Transportation Program, they can receive additional savings when traveling to certain destinations. To register with the Area Agency on Aging, call the main office at 1-800-442-8000.
